Attention Deficit Disorder tends to focus predominately on children, leaving the ADD adult largely under served Most of the information presented about Attention Deficit Disorder focuses on children, parenting and school issues All but one ADHD medication currently on the market achieved FDA approval for adult Attention Deficit Disorder treatment Attention Deficit Disorder simply was not in vogue when the adult of today was a child decades ago While today many express concerns of over diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder in children, many also acknowledge the under diagnosing of adults with Attention Deficit Disorder Adults with ADD often realize that they have Attention Deficit Disorder when their own child is diagnosed Looking through the list of symptoms, the parent often sees similarities in their own present or past behavior Yet, the hurdles of Attention Deficit are often the same, whether in a child or an adult The ADD adult might have trouble with staying on task, staying organized and procrastinating, just as the Attention Deficit Disorder child does The Attention Deficit Disorder adult might have trouble maintaining relationships and controlling their mood, just like an ADD or ADHD child The main difference between the ADD adult and the ADD child is that the adult with Attention Deficit typically has more sophisticated coping mechanisms For the better part, the Attention Deficit Disorder ADD ADHD symptom test outlined for children is about the same for the adult, with the word “work” substituted for “school” You can also look at the Attention Deficit Disorder test for children and ask yourself if, as a child, you had such symptoms or currently have such Attention Deficit Disorder symptoms Below is an adult symptom test with symptoms unique to the Attention Deficit Disorder adult This self test is not a diagnostic test but a source of information for the adult trying to determine if Attention Deficit Disorder might be present in their life Adult ADD Symptom Test: If you experience more than 10 points on this adult ADD self symptom test, Attention Deficit Disorder is likely present An internal sense of anxiety Impulsive spending habits Frequent distractions during sex Frequently misplace the car keys, your purse or wallet or other day-to-day items Lack of attention to detail Family history of ADD, learning problems, mood disorders or substance abuse problems Trouble following the proper channels or chain of commands An attitude of "read the directions when all else fails" Frequent traffic violations Impulsive job changes Trouble maintaining an organized work and/or home environment Chronically late or always in a hurry Frequently overwhelmed by tasks of daily living Poor financial management and frequent late bills Procrastination Spending excessive time at work due to inefficiencies Inconsistent work performance Sense of underachievement Frequent mood swings Trouble sustaining friendships or intimate relationships A need to seek high stimulation activities Tendency toward exaggerated outbursts Transposing numbers, letters, words Tendency toward being argumentative Addictive personality toward food, alcohol, drugs, work and/or gambling Tendency to worry needlessly and endlessly “Thin-skinned” - having quick or exaggerated responses to real or imagined slights So you hit a number of points on the adult ADD self symptom test, now what? First, it is important that a physician rule out conditions like anxiety, depression, hypothyroidism, manic-depressions or obsessive compulsive disorder that can mimic Attention Deficit Disorder symptoms Hormonal imbalances in perimenopause and menopause can produce foggy thinking, anxiety and exaggerated outbursts Women should rule out perimenopause if the Attention Deficit symptoms appear in their late 30s or 40s Physicians typically first prescribe antidepressants like Prozac for an adult with ADD, since depression issues often go hand-in-hand with adult ADD Physicians usually move to stimulant medications like Adderall, Concerta or Ritalin or Strattera if antidepressants do not work The stimulant medication treatment route is not recommended for people with a history of drug or alcohol use or abuse since these are controlled substances with a fairly high degree of addiction potential in adults Some adults find that the side effects of ADHD medications are not worth the benefits of the medication The Attention Deficit Disorder adult can find help naturally without the side effects of ADD medication treatment by incorporate diet, exercise and lifestyle modifications Release the Steam, Quiet the Mind: Regular and vigorous exercise can be very helpful for the Attention Deficit Disorder adult Attention Deficit Disorder adults tend to have addictive personalities Exercise is a good addiction Aside from the obvious health benefits, regular exercise is also a great way to release steam and quiet the mind Some studies also link regular exercise to decreased depression - a condition common with Attention Deficit Disorder adults Diet: The brain is a hungry organ that cannot function at optimal levels without the proper fuels To keep the brain functioning at top performance, ADHD diets packed with brain boosting essential fatty acids and amino acids is a must A diet high in lean protein provides amino acids necessary for brain functioning The ADD adult can also meet these crucial dietary requirements for Attention Deficit Disorder by taking a high-quality nutritional supplement to ensure that they are giving the brain the fuel it needs to function properly Restructuring the ADD adult environment: The Attention Deficit Disorder adult should get into the habit of making lists The list should include any and all tasks required for the day, from “Mop the kitchen floor” to “Finish the sales proposal” Write your list with the tasks of highest priority first Once the highest priority task is completed, mark it off and go to the next Warding off the urge to skip around on the list will take some discipline but the sense of accomplishment at completed tasks is well worth the effort The Attention Deficit Disorder adult should also keep a notepad in their car, purse, coat and on their bed stand Thoughts come and go quickly Jotting the good ideas down will ensure that they don’t go away quickly - assuming the notepad does not get lost in the process The alarm clock or a wristwatch with an alarm can be a great tool for the Attention Deficit Disorder adult If you need to pick your child up from soccer practice at a certain time, set the alarm If you have food cooking on the stove and you leave the kitchen, set the alarm If you have an important appointment, set the alarm Large tasks tend to overwhelm the Attention Deficit Disorder adult and they often put off large task as long as possible It is not uncommon for the Attention Deficit Disorder adult to procrastinate until the “11th Hour” and then pull an all-night jam session trying to meet a deadline For large tasks, the Attention Deficit Disorder adult will do well to break the task into smaller, more manageable tasks and attach deadlines to the smaller tasks If you need to finish a large project in one week, for instance, schedule specific time each day to work on a specific aspect of the project An adult with Attention Deficit Disorder might also find it beneficial to enlist the help of a coach A coach is a close and trusted friend, co-worker or therapist whose specific function is to help the Attention Deficit Disorder adult stay organized, on track and focused while providing encouragement About The Author Jeannine Virtue is a freelance writer and mother of an Attention Deficit teen For information about effective drug-free ADHD treatment, visit http://wwwadd-adhd-help-centercom jvirtue@add-adhd-help-centercom

What is Autism Autism is a developmental disability that affects, often severely, a person's ability to communicate and socially interact with others It is four times more prevalent in males than females Currently, autism is believed to affect 1 in every 166 people The rate of people being diagnosed with autism has increased substantially over the past two decades Although this may be in part due to improved diagnostic techniques and to changes in the criteria for autism spectrum disorders, the majority of experts agree these changes are not enough to explain the epidemic rates at which autism is being diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorders is an umbrella term that includes classic autism (also known as Kanner's autism or Kanner's syndrome), Asperger's syndrome, and pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) Autism is considered a spectrum disorder because the number and intensity of the symptoms people with autism display may vary widely However, all people with autism demonstrate impairments in the following three areas: communication, social relationships and restricted patterns of behavior The spectrum ranges from those who are severely affected, less able, and dependent on others to those who are of above-average intelligence and independent, yet lacking in social skills What Causes Autism? Unfortunately, no one knows the answer This is one of the primary missions of Cure Autism Now to fund the crucial and necessary research to discover the cause of autism, in order to design effective treatments and, eventually, find a cure Here is what is known so far: There is a genetic predisposition for autism spectrum disorders Some brain circuits are different in a person with autism Serotonin, a neurotransmitter important for normal brain functioning and behavior, has been found to be elevated in a subgroup of people with autism Some children with autism and related disorders have biochemical and immunological problems Many experts in the field of autism - for example Dr Edward Ritvo of the University of California Los Angeles - theorize that there exists a genetic predisposition to autism spectrum disorders This predisposition, perhaps encoded within a certain gene, interacts with an as-yet-unknown environmental factor or factors and causes alterations to the immune system, the sensory nervous system, the brain and often the gastrointestinal tract as well These changes then cause the affected person to exhibit the symptoms of autism Autism Does Not Discriminate Last year I went on a 5K walk at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles benefiting Cure Autism Now I saw thousands of children, their families and friends that are affected in one way or another by autism There were people from all walks of life, professional people like athletes, lawyers, doctors and people you see everyday in your own community People with children that have autism, all getting together to raise money to help find a cure Before the walk, I received a letter from a mother whose 4 year old son Danny has autism She was asking for donations and letting people know about the Cure Autism Now second annual Walk-A-Thon After reading her letter, I had a better understanding of not only what autism was, but what parents and the children with autism go through on a daily basis Below is part of that letter I think after reading it, you will be more understanding as I was Start of letter It's Walk-a-Thon time! A year has passed so quickly I want to share with you the progress that Danny has made He is amazing A year ago he couldn't even tell me he loved me Now, when I say "I love you Danny" he yells back "I love you more!!!" I waited so long to hear those words But what is so difficult is the fact that he doesn't know what the words mean He says them from memory It's like a recording Every time I say I love you he automatically responds with the same answer, which is very common with most autistic children I ask him what he did in school each day and he can tell me bits and pieces, but he also repeats the same thing everyday or tells me what they did a month ago Autistic children have amazing memories He can take a brand new puzzle, dump all the pieces off the board, pick up any piece without hesitation and put it in it's proper place without even thinking His mind is incredible I wake up in the mornings wondering what kind of day Danny is going to have, and I pray that it's a good one He is extremely sensitive to his surroundings If things don't go in the same pattern that he is used to, he flips outscreaming and kicking I still find myself in denial sometimes When we are out in public, I try to do everything in my power to make sure Danny gets his way, as to not cause a scene I remember one Friday, I wanted to take a special day and make it "all about Danny," I was going to take him to an indoor playground It was pouring rain that Friday, but we trampled through the parking lot and into the playground and took off our shoes Danny wanted to play the video game and another little boy also wanted to play Danny doesn't do well when other people are in his space, so he started screaming at the top of his lungs, threw himself on the floor kicking me and anything else that got in his way I tried to pick him up but he was kicking so hard I could barely lift him Every mother and child in the place was staring at me I tried to calm him, but his screams got louder, as they always do when you try to reason with him As I carried Danny to the bathroom to get him away from everyone else, I heard one of the moms say to her friend"I wish she would shut that kid up!!!" I couldn't help but break into tears We didn't even last five minutes in public I grabbed our shoes in one hand, Danny in the other and ran to the car in my socks in the pouring rain I just sat in my car and cried I wish that woman could spend just ONE day in the life of Danny I sometimes want to wear a sign around my neck that say "My child is autistic, please excuse the excessive noise" Despite Danny's outburstshe has made incredible progress He is talking so much Almost too much (just kidding) He can write his name all on his own and is starting to sing songs(which he would never do before) He is a very expressive little boy End of letter After reading that letter, now when I see a child screaming and kicking in a store or someplace, and we all have, I think that the child may be autistic It made me realize that it's not the child's or the parents fault and I should be more understanding The number of autistic cases is rising faster than we can count, but progress is being made At Cure Autism Now, they are currently funding more than 15 research projects examining the causes of autism You can go to Danny's page at Cure Autism Now and you will see a picture of Danny, who is 5 years old now and his father at last years Walk-A-Thon You can donate what you can, learn more about autism and find out where there might be a Walk-A-Thon in your area Danny's page Thank you, About The Author Paul Bittle is the owner of http://wwwbitsnwitscom an information web site with free articles and free courses Also, for Danny's page you can go to Bits N Wits home page and look for Special Announcement

Good health is easy but being sick is hard The truth is, maintaining good health is pretty simple although reclaiming it takes patience, consistent actions and smart choices Your body heals at it's own pace Your job is to help that process along There are four important components that determine a person's level of health Component One: Is their body being fed what it needs to be healthy? From the point of view of the body, many meals today barely qualify as food That's why disease care is a trillion dollar business and over 60% of Americans are overweightAn amazing amount of the American diet is packed with calories carrying no real nutrition Like good health, eating vital, real food is easy, but that is a decision you have to make Component Two: Does the person have a cork stuck up their butt

You have just found out that your dream man is not quite a complete man He cannot take the relationship to its logical conclusion What can you do? Despair, curse, and drop your head? Wrong! Get your man to a GP and ask for the suitability of Viagra Erectile Dysfunction (ED) was long considered as a bane for the healthy relationships ED used to play havoc with men's health The healthy sexual relationship that had been a cause of joy for so long suddenly seemed a distant dream Slowly but surely the couple drifted away from the long blissful relationship they once enjoyed But these times are now a passé The sexual problems are no longer dreaded as they were Thanks to Viagra pill that was approved for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction (ED) in 1998 The sexual health of couples got a major boost when it was discovered that sildenafil citrate (generic name for Viagra) - a drug used to treat angina - was more effective in the treatment of impotence Newspapers were replete with viagra information and went on to the extent of branding it as a miracle-pill Suddenly, the couple could visualise an end to their pain of separation The sexual dysfunction and erectile dysfunction would no longer threaten to disrupt a healthy relationship The pain of not being able to consummate the relationship can lead the couple to serious medical conditions It can lead to depression which can even prove fatal for the sufferer Viagra not only helped in treating ED it proved to be even better The effect of Viagra lasts for 90 minutes which ensures greater satisfaction and enhanced sexual pleasure Many women have reported a heavenly experience during sex The increase in orgasms translates into robust and enduring relationship

At some time or another, we all experience stress Sometimes it stems from family, relationships, or work; but regardless of its source, it still feels the same Stress cannot be avoided, however, we can learn to effectively manage and prevent it from overtaking our lives The first step to coping with stress is to recognize its source and to identify what it is about this source that is causing you distress As mentioned earlier, stress can come from many different reasons that is why it is helpful to explore these sources and why they can be troubling Probably the most common source of stress comes from the family Families are made up of individuals, each with their own unique personality When you place these different personalities together, conflict will undoubtedly surface and cause stress Individuals will also experience distress when a family member becomes ill or engages in self-destructive behaviors Family-related stress is perfectly normal and most people can overcome the pressure in due time However, if you find that you or your family is unable to cope with the stress, it may be time to seek professional counseling to help open up the channels of communication again Another big source of stress is relationships We can experience tension with a loved one because each person has their own way of doing things and interacting with others When one person fails to meet the expectations of the other, conflict can arise Problems can also occur during the course of normal (or abnormal) life changes, such as divorce, illness, and work-related issues If you think that you and a loved one are having difficulty managing stress, it may be time to sit down and have a heart-to-heart Sometimes the best medicine in the world for a heavy heart is just being to express yourself openly with someone you care about who will listen A final - but not last - source of stress that many of us will encounter stems from work Many people are not happy with their current job, have interpersonal conflicts with coworkers or the boss, are not being paid enough, feeling powerless or undervalued, and the list can go on indefinitely The best way to deal with job-related stress is to identify what's causing the stress and determine if you have any control over the situation in order to make changes, if not consider working in the dental field and helping others Effectively managing the stress you experience in the various areas of your life is possible with the right tools and mindset - discover what's holding you back from overcoming your stress today

Stammer or stammering can have a dramatic effect on somebodys confidence Fluent people really can not comprehend how hard it is to live your life with a speech impediment or stammer I run one to one speech courses in Birmingham and one of my clients once told me about a situation he was involved in He and his friends went to a bar one Saturday afternoon to have a few drinks After a couple of pints he went up to the bar to order himself a drink Unfortunately he could not speak all of the words fluently and the bar man accused him of being drunk and refused to serve him He tried to explain that he was not drunk but had a stammer but the bar man said "That's what they all say" He returned to his friends who asked him where his drink was He told them what had happened, this itself was very embarressing His friends were very supportive and one of them went to the bar and bought him a drink Everything was fine until the barman saw him drinking this drink He stormed over and asked him to leave the pub saying: "I told you that I did not want you drinking anymore alcohol, now get out" His friends tried to explain to the barman about the stammer and were eventually thrown out of the pub aswell This is a typical situation people who have a stammer find themselves in Stammering can make progress in a career difficult Being able to obtain employment is hard enough, attending an interview with a stammer is not easy Many people who have a speech impediment find using a telephone a choir and most careers need the employee to have good communication skills Other areas of life are also made to be a struggle, for example when I had a stammer I found it difficult to order things like drinks, form relationships with the opposite sex, converse with friends and meeting new people For whatever reason I also found my stammer to be at its worst when I was tired I am now happy that I have overcome the stammer that had made my life a struggle for eighteen years

Insomnia is a very common complaint among older adults The condition affects more than 70 million Americans Some symptoms include difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, difficulty with early morning awakening, or not feeling rested by a "good night's sleep" Occasionally, insomnia lasts for a short time and can be easily managed Other times it is a chronic condition, lasting more than six months This chronic insomnia is more troublesome and can affect work, social relationships, and health Many people with insomnia are also diagnosed with other conditions such as depression, anxiety, allergies, or pain Insomnia treatment begins with what is known as "sleep hygiene" This includes regular sleep and wake times You should avoid eating, drinking, or exercising before bedtime The room should be cool, comfortable, and dark The philosophy of sleep hygiene is: keep a regular sleep schedule; exercise regularly but avoid exercise before bed; go to bed when sleepy; do relaxing and enjoyable activities before bed; keep the bedroom quiet and comfortable; do not eat a large evening meal; if you are not sleeping within 20 minutes, get up and return to bed when you are sleepy; if you must take a nap, limit it to 30 minutes; avoid alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine; have your pharmacist check your medications for stimulating drugs If the "sleep hygiene" methods are not working, then it may me necessary to begin using medication If you are still having difficulty getting a good night's sleep, you should talk to your pharmacist or doctor The cause of your insomnia will need to be determined and you may need medication to help you sleep Even if medication is used for insomnia, "sleep hygiene" principles should still be followed and can provide added benefit The best medication should act quickly and for a short period of time This eliminates the "hangover effect" some people experience There are many other products that might be used for insomnia Melatonin has been shown to be helpful in treating insomnia due to melatonin deficiency in elderly patients It may also improve sleep quality but probably will not increase the length of sleep time Kava kava and valerian root are also commonly used for the treatment of insomnia Kava kava has not been shown to be effective in the treatment of chronic insomnia It is also known to be potentially dangerous to the liver Valerian root may be helpful in helping one get to sleep as well as improving the quality of sleep There are a number of treatment options available for the treatment and management of insomnia It is important to diagnose and attempt to treat the root or underlying cause first After that, the practice known as "sleep hygiene" should be practiced If "sleep hygiene" is not effective, then the use of prescription medication may be warranted The cheapest treatment is, of course, "sleep hygiene" If you try this approach and are unsuccessful, I would recommend over-the-counter diphenhydramine, while still practicing "sleep hygiene" There are many different types available The next step would be to visit your doctor for a prescription As is my usual recommendation, begin with the lowest priced medication For insomnia treatment, I would recommend trazodone first Trazodone represents approximately 40% of all insomnia prescriptions It is very cheap at less than $10 a month If that is ineffective, go with temazepam It is also very popular and cheap It is, however, a controlled substance which means there is a possibility of addiction

Alcoholism is matter of serious concern, not confined to any group, culture or country Universally it creates professional, social, financial, legal, medical, psychological, and familial problems The cost of alcoholism to the society is staggering by any calculations Lost working days, accidents and related disability, family disrupts and resulting juvenile problems, and direct medical complications of alcohol abuse add up to a significant proportion of loss to nations” economy and well being Alcoholism thus becomes a complex phenomenon deserving attention from deferent angles Problem drinking within a family can lead to many types of stress and hard ships for family members Increasing social isolation due to alcoholism is difficult for children to cope up They behave increasingly withdrawn form peer group activities Financial hardships become a factor and reductions are made to general standard of living Physical hardships are seen either violence towards family members or in destruction of household things Family members especially spouse may be subjected to emotional deprivation and may perceive drinking as a form of rejection This in turn causes the drinker to become increasingly preoccupied and plays a diminished role in family life and affairs Glassner and Loughlin (1987) emphasised on three aspects of parent-child relationships that are studied in alcoholics” families; basic care, consistency of expectations, and communications Children find it difficult to cope with parental unpredictability or with unexplained withdrawal and sudden change in mood and temperament Children may suffer from physical and emotional neglect Since all the family’s energies are focused on the drinker, children are often neglected and their individual contributions go unacknowledged This may result in acting out behavior, aggression, bed- wetting, taunting, anxiety, withdrawal and isolation that in turn can increase the pressure on non-drinking parents Another important problem is that children of alcoholics lack a satisfactory role model for their own behavior Hence, the children represent an important high-risk group both because of their proneness to problem drinking during child hood and their proneness to problems in later life Hence, the tragedy of alcoholism lies in its detrimental effects on future generation Alcoholism of the individual affects not only the family but also even the basic fabric of the society Alcohol causes poverty leading to crimes and prostitution that in turn ends up in the break down of any society’s integrity and existence Studies have reveled that alcoholics” families acquire certain typical coping strategies within the family system (Orford et al 1975) Children take up age inappropriate activities to maintain the domestic harmony, become a support to the non-drinking parent, and hence exposed to moral, emotional, and financial dilemmas not appropriate to their age, experience or understanding This invariably evokes further stress, feelings of hopelessness, withdrawnness and depression in alcoholics Thus, a vicious cycle of alcohol, stress and maladjustment is found to exist The present study therefore attempts to investigate the nature of Maladjustment among the children of alcoholic parents OBJECTIVES AND HYPOTHESIS The central theme of the present investigation is to study the nature of maladjustment among children of alcoholics Based on available literature and discussion with experts in this field, following objectives were formulated before starting the study 1 To find out maladjustment among children of alcoholics 2 To find out whether male and female children of alcoholics vary on maladjustment 3 To find out whether first child of alcoholics score high on maladjustment compared to other siblings HYPOTHESIS H1 1 There is significant deference between children of alcoholics and children from normal family on maladjustment H1 2 There is significant deference between male and female children of alcoholics on maladjustment H1 3 There is significant deference between first children of alcoholics and their siblings on maladjustment METHOD The present study is designed to investigate the nature of Maladjustment among the children of alcoholic parents SAMPLE Proposed sample of the study includes 400 children from deferent parts of Kerala Out of the 400 children, 300 are from alcoholics” families and the rest 100 from normal families who serve as control group TOOLS Mathew maladjustment inventory Mathew maladjustment inventory assesses five major aspects of maladjustment viz, anxiety, depression, mania, inferiority, and paranoia The test is reported to have high degree of content validity The coefficient of reliability (split half) of the subscales ranged from 06 to 09, the total score having a reliability of 09 (Mathew, 1975) RESEARCH DESIGN 2 x 2 Factorial design with experimental and control groups on one axis and male and female on the other axis The four groups to be tested on deferent aspects of maladjustments ANALYSIS 2 x 2 ANOVA for independent groups to be conducted for analysis of gathered data Other suitable statistical techniques will be used for further analysis REFERENCES Glassner, B and Loughlin, B Drugs in Adolescent Worlds: Burnout to straight, London: Macmillan Press, 1987 Mathew, VG, Manual of Mathew Maladjustment Inventory, Department of Psychology, University of Kerala, 1975 Orford, J, Guthrie, S, Nicholls, P, Oppenheimer, E, Egert, S, and Hensman, C, Self reported coping behaviour of wives of alcoholics and its association with drinking out come Journal of Studies on Alcohol, 1975, 36-1254-67 Dr Hari Chandran

Discipline is an important key to succeeding with your Health and fitness program If you don't learn to become disciplined you will miss workouts, you won't stick to your nutrition plan, and the workouts you do make will be haphazard and not very productive Without discipline, you’ll spin your wheels, instead of making fantastic progress toward your goals This lack of progress will, in turn, cause you to give up out of frustration and you’ll miss out on all the wonderful things being healthy and fit can do for you: More energy, higher self esteem, better relationships – the positive’s are almost endless The mental aspect of your training routine is crucial to your success Discipline is a key requirement for success in your fitness program, whether you want to build muscle, lose fat or just get in shape In addition, this discipline that you develop through your training will carry over into all other aspects of your life A better disciplined individual will outperform his or her peers in most aspects of life, whether it's financial, career, relationships, or weight training I know that the discipline I've developed from lifting weights has had a very positive carryover affect into the rest of my life A disciplined person is extremely goal oriented and is prepared to work for those goals until they are achieved If you approach your workouts with a sense of discipline, each workout will become much more productive You'll make faster progress and achieve your goals much sooner Setting goals and having the discipline to go after them will increase your focus and intensity and keep you from training in a haphazard fashion or allow you to talk yourself out of training on the days you don't quite feel like going to the gym You must be disciplined with program to reach your goals Do I sound like a broken record already? That’s because discipline truly is the key to your success Without the discipline to stick to a plan, nothing else matters You may have the world’s best diet and exercise program but if you don’t have the discipline to implement that plan until you reach your goals, the plan is worthless And this is true in all aspects of your life, not just fitness We all get tired from time to time We all want to throw in the proverbial towel every so often Another big thing that keeps us from reaching our goals is just plain laziness This is a big obstacle for almost everyone in everything they do in life The key is to go ahead and focus on your goal and do what you need to do anyway What do I do to combat laziness
