"If there is one thing that is important for you to know, it is that every thought, even the most insignificant is a living reality Thoughts can even be seen, there are people who can see them Of course on the physical plane, a thought is invisible and intangible, but it is no less real: in its own region and with its own subtle matter, it is a living, active being"(Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov) Thoughtforms can be described as energetic patterns that exist within our aura, and they are created by our own thoughts So if you have the thought, 'I have all the energy I need, I have all the energy I need', with enough conviction and belief, you'll create a thought form who 'makes this so', and this newly created thoughtform will then live happily inside your aura This thoughtform will help you draw towards you all the circumstances you need to 'make it so', for example, it may help you realise that you need to give up smoking, as a first step towards better health and energy, then it may nudge you towards taking up a new hobby that you really enjoy, (and therefore boosts your energy) and as you clear each hurdle, improving diet etc, etc, the thoughtform will continue to help you clear all obstacles between you and the optimum energy levels that you want to create This could take weeks, months, or could be a life's work! You could say that thoughtforms are the spiritual equivalent to computer programmes, and sub-routines, as they will keep running the same programme until the time where an intent and focus is made (by you) to change them You can have thoughtforms of depression, which always respond to certain triggers with hopelessness and despair, or thoughtforms of overeating, thoughtforms of rage It only knows how to exist as itself, (it only has one programme to run!) and so thoughtforms will always attempt to deal with life in the same way Thoughtforms are created over time, and are the energetic equivalent of schemas (deeply held beliefs) If there is a very strong activating event, that happens only once; such as the trauma of a car accident, or rape, then, because of the strength of the emotions, a powerful thoughtform will be created Or if over a number of years, an experience happens daily of being undermined in small, subtle ways, such as the dynamics that can occur in families, then again, due to the dripping tap of emotion, a large pool of energy is created for the thoughtform to grow big and strong So then, here we have the situation of a thoughtform living happily (maybe not for you) in your aura, creating the reality of the belief that is at the core of its existence, and feeding off the energy that it co-creates with the world around Well, what then? Well, the good news is that YOU are the computer programmer (phew), and have at your fingertips a wealth of tools Thoughts and emotions have great power, when used together with intent, and this is how the power of affirmations, speaking them, writing them, thinking them effectively and over time will bring about positive change So for example, affirming 'I love and approve of myself', will help heal a negative thoughtform that is creating, 'I am a useless person' Affirmations are often not enough in themselves, but work well when combined with other methods Hypnotherapy is an excellent way of 'plugging' straight in to the appropriate thought forms, and bringing about positive change As while counselling and psychotherapy will 'whittle away' at the beliefs created over years in childhood, often using the logical, conscious left-brain to prove to yourself that you're not useless after all, hypnotherapy does this by going straight to 'the heart of the problem', and can bring about immediate transformation Hypnotherapy also uses the power of the word, and of sound, and of healing energy which is channelled through the word When a hypnotherapist is speaking to a client in trance, the therapist is co-creating with the client new thought forms Parts therapy is incredibly useful, and indeed parts therapy is a way of communicating directly to your thoughtforms In most of us, there are a number of thoughtforms, all working in different directions, and through parts therapy, you can bring them under conscious control and get them to 'pull together' working together in harmony, and for the highest good Because these thought forms are energy and don't actually exist in their own right, (having been created secondary to that person) as a healer I use a number of clearing techniques One excellent energy for doing this is the violet flame, which anyone can use This energy transforms and transmutes negative energy into positive energy So a thoughtform can be removed and made available for use for a positive thoughtform I use the technique of drawing off the energy with my left hand, and then 'ciphoning' it to my right hand and to the violet flame, which I visualise as a violet flame 'bonfire' directly underneath my right hand Other energy healing techniques using certain hand positions can be used to 'break down', and dissipate any negative thoughtforms around the head or solar plexus, and also certain hand positions work powerfully on past life traumas stored in the brain stem Sometimes bringing in the energy which is opposite to the thoughtforms gently eases them away, so with a fear thoughtform, you might bring in gentle calming energies; calling on archetypes that represent this energy, such as White Tara or Buddha, and channel their particular high vibration of energy This energy can then gently 'wash away' and dissolve the fear thought form It's important in this healing work, (as in parts therapy), to always treat the 'forms' that you're working with, with great care, and not take the stance of 'obliterating them' This is not a war to be fought, but a diplomatic negotiation of change, where compassion and sensitivity are the keys to success We create our own reality, and our own karma through the process of creating these thoughtforms in response to the world around us, and our past experiences and beliefs I believe thought forms can be carried from life to life (as energy never dies, it only changes) With this perspective, your life path becomes a far more 'cause and effect' process, and one in which we can take our power back So, you might want to have a think about what kind of thoughtforms you might be carrying around with you, and how to do a bit of 'life laundry' on them Working to raise the energy and vibration of your thoughtforms (and of course you!) is probably the most satisfying and rewarding work you can undertake, as you'll be repaid by your reality ever increasingly reflecting the inner brightness of your light!

Thoughts and Actions-The Connection By http://wwwelmerfizzcom The way you feel about yourself, your self-esteem, drives your thoughts These thoughts transform into actions The actions that you take are the key factors in getting what you want out of life If you are not achieving your goals, take some time and evaluate how you feel about yourself Achieving your goals takes repeated action and you can't give up too early High self-esteem can give you the drive, determination, and personal power necessary to take these actions and be persistent until you achieve success However, if you are constantly critical of yourself, then these feelings will lower your self-esteem If you have low self-esteem, then it will be more difficult to take the right actions to enable you to achieve your goals This link between thoughts and actions is what keeps you from getting started or what causes you to give up So what can you do to conquer self-doubt and energize your actions? It all starts with positive thinking Start off by spending some time congratulating yourself for what you have already accomplished in life Everyone has had their share of wins Make a list of these accomplishments and what actions you took to make them happen Think about the obstacles that you overcame or what special actions you took to reach each goal This is a great way to acknowledge your successes and give your self-confidence a boost Your list of wins will be the foundation that you build on for your future successes Remember that there is a link between thoughts and actions It's time to take control of your thoughts Whenever you start having doubts, pull out your list Negative thoughts are the greatest dream killer known to man! Telling yourself "I can't" will lower your self-esteem, reduce the effectiveness of any actions that you take, and prevent you from achieving your goals Your list of wins is something that can reassure you whenever negative thinking tries to take over your mind Instead, tell yourself "I can" Positive thoughts bring confidence, optimism, and focused action which give you a much better chance of achieving your goals "I can" is a great way to plant seeds in your mind for positive thoughts The resulting high self-esteem will provide the extra edge that you need to drive away your fears and eliminate any doubt that keeps you from accomplishing your goals ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----- This article may be reprinted if left unchanged in its entirety and this resource box left intact: http://wwwcrazyhealthnutcom http://www123healthstorecom http://wwwelmerfizzcom ----------------------------------------------------------------- -----

Bodybuilding is hard work As far as athletics and sports go, it may very well be one of the hardest I have spent time in competitive boxing, martial arts, powerlifting and yet I think I can say with confidence that bodybuilding caused me to face some of my greatest challenges All sports present different challenges that are unique only to that specific sport My boxing taught me that I needed to take a punch, shake a punch and more importantly do my best to avoid getting punched Boxing also taught me how to achieve incredible endurance My martial arts training caused me pain in parts of my body I never knew existed I learned the importance of stretching, flexibility and mental discipline Bodybuilding is completely different Some of the same factors are there Bodybuilding requires steadfast discipline, both mentally and physically However, true bodybuilding is much more than a sport--it's a lifestyle From the diet, to the supplements, to the workouts that impact your daily schedule, bodybuilding requires dedication unlike anything else Then, on top of all of that, you must look in the mirror every single day and see progress in the form of new muscle with greater degrees of definition It can be very disheartening when the mirror doesn't represent gains that you believe you have earned and worked hard for That's why it grieves me to see novice bodybuilders and even worse, experienced ones, making mistakes and succumbing to obstacles that are avoidable and inhibit their progress As we consider the following obstacles, let's remember that they can make or break a bodybuilder 1 Stick to the basics Here comes Johnny Newcomer He skips squats He skips heavy bent over rows If you asked him to do a deadlift he would look perplexed and wonder why you asked him such a ridiculous question He would rather use the machines, swing the light dumbbells, and toy around with the cables Oh yes, I forgot, he loves to bench press too None of these things are bad and they all are important, but they must not replace basic, heavy compound movements (barbell) Compound movements involve more than one muscle group (squats, deadlifts, etc) and tax the body in such a way so as to cause the most favorable metabolic and hormonal environment--provided that you do not overtrain If you incorporate heavy movements like squats, heavy bent over rows, deadlifts, and standing military presses into your regimen, you will see and feel the difference Give it shot and let me know I'm sure you will come back smiling even though they may be very physically challenging 2 Go home--enough already: Stop overtraining You see them every day in the gym They move from machine to machine and never seem to want to go home Sometimes I sit in awe and I wonder, "Does he have a home to go to?" They work 20-30 sets for biceps and then still have the nerve to do some back training after all that If you're training for more than an hour, you are overtraining As far as I'm concerned you have reached what I call the point of no return After forty-five minutes of intense resistance training your body's defense mechanisms engage and that in turn causes a sharp increase in cortisol (stress induced hormone) You will also have significant decreases in testosterone and human growth hormone levels If you cut your workout time and increase your recovery time and your post workout nutrients, you will grow 3 Exchange light fluffy for heavy intense Put down the light weights and stop looking at yourself in the mirror with such lust in your eyes If you have the wherewithal to take smoldering glances at yourself in the mirror as you smirk and blow kisses, you may not be lifting a weight that is heavy enough Muscles will grow only if they are forced to the adaptation necessary to lift something heavier than they are use to and normally recognize In other words, lift heavy and lift with intensity Working out hard and working out with intensity are two different things Intensity is what you should strive for if muscle mass is your goal How can you lift with more intensity? Lift heavier weight I say that because I know the word "intensity" gives some people the wrong idea You can yell and scream in the gym, but that doesn't mean you're lifting with intensity In order to understand the true meaning of intensity I like to equivocate intensity with overload I know that there can be a problem with this as well Some can lift heavy, but lack the mental intensity But keep in mind I'm that when I use the word intensity I'm not only referring to the mental aspects, but also force, strength and velocity Keep your rep range in the 4-6 area and do 9-12 sets per body part maximum Heavy weight would be when you can not get more than 6 reps with that particular weight on your own using strict form When you get to this point, add more weight until you continue to fall in this rep scheme Drop the light fluffy Heavy intense is where the muscle lives 4 There's no happy hour here: Focus, focus, focus I think that some people see gyms as bars, nightclubs or social societies I'm amazed when I see people stop in the middle of a set to engage in conversation for 15-30 minutes or more It's unbelievable It's one thing if you're done with your workout and you're cooling down But that is not the case most of the time I once witnessed a girl walk up to a friend and begin conversation Just by the duration I assumed she must have been done with her workout Well, you know what they say about assuming--never do it She turned around 35 minutes later as I was leaving and she picked up on the same machine she left off at Focus and concentration is directly related to your degree of success and muscle growth Save the conversation for after the workout Think about and focus on nothing else but the muscle you are training The only thing you should do between sets is mildly stretch the muscle you're working on And I'm not talking about the one in your mouth 5 Now is the time: The importance of pre/post workout fuel Last week a guy in the gym approached me and asked me if he should take a protein drink after his workout I told him if he didn't plan on having a protein/carbohydrate drink following his workout, it would have better off for him to stay home How can anyone think that it is okay to put the body through serious stressful resistance training and then not know how crucial it is to give the body the nourishment it needs to grow and repair?

There's a lot of talk in meditation circles about emptying the mind This is a roadblock for many people Why? Because it's counterintuitive After all, we spend most of our waking hours filling up our minds We go to school, we get trained, we read, we learn, we absorb information from all around us Then someone comes along and tells us that the best thing we can do is EMPTY our mind? Why would we want to do that?

I've long been a student of those who have achieved high levels of success Over the years I've noticed several common threads in the makeup of the people I've studied I'd like to recount several of those traits for you in the hope that in identifying them, you can implement these qualities into your own life and in turn be better as a result Responsibility, Persistence, and Belief in your own greatness - In virtually all the cases I've studied, every person at some point was faced with obstacles that could have kept them from reaching the level of success they are at now Certainly it would have been easy for each of these individuals to simply blame their life's circumstances for their lot in life and choose to surrender to the idea that greatness was not something they deserved Notice I didn't say that the "super achievers" I've studied did not have issues or pitfalls occur in their lives No, what makes them different is that they accept the short falls and get on with the business of overcoming and correcting those things as quickly as possible My friend, the fact is that none of us can control where we come from, or the poverty that we may or may not have been born into However, what we can do is to begin moving past what stands in our way now, and start doing what it takes to improve our place in life To accept where you are now, because you might happen to have less then someone else is simply not an excuse that I hope you will allow to stand in your way I assure you that no matter what might be standing in your way, there is someone in the world that has a story of things that stood in their way that will put yours or mine to shame Yet somehow they plugged on until they found the "magic key" that unlocked what was blocking their way As you move forward on your success journey and begin to believe that you are cut out for greatness be sure to reach for and review the countless stories of those that have overcome what was in their way and reached their own definition of success Let these examples be your fuel as you move towards your own dreams The reality is that you were born for great things, even if you can't fathom this to be true at this time in your life -- I assure you it is still so I'm not saying for a moment that it's always going to be an easy path to follow After all, if life were all a bed of roses we'd all be living the good life But sadly, that's not so, life takes work, it takes commitment, it takes a lot of persistence, and a commitment to oneself to be the best one possibly can be I'll leave you with this final point If you knew just how much greatness is inside you I'm convinced it would absolutely amaze you -- you would live each day taking more chances because you knew that with each attempt you're one step closer to unlocking greater success So my challenge for you at this very moment is to get on with the business of being the best you can be Dream big dreams, plan and put the action necessary to bring out the great achievements you are capable of Yours in success, Josh Hinds (c) 2004 About The Author Josh Hinds of http://GetMotivationcom specializes in helping people to achieve maximum success and live the life of their dreams -- receive his motivation newsletter at http://GetMotivationcom/ezineshtml Josh is also the co-founder of http://AudioMotivationcom
